Vladimir Bryntsalov


Vladimir Alexeyevich Bryntsalov was born in 1946 in the city of Cherkessk (Stavropol province). He graduated from Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute in 1969. Later, he taught technical subjects at Cherkassk Polytechnic College, then worked in construction. In 1987, he started an agricultural co-operative. In the end of the 1980's, Bryntsalov became head of Moscow Drug Manufacturers' Association, now Ferein, a major joint-stock enterprise. Bryntsalov is a millionaire. He is a Duma member (elected: December, 1995), the founder and leader of the Russian Socialist Party (since April 1996).
